PAVEL HAAS QUARTET

PERFORMING IN CONCERTS 1, 5, & 7

Admired as risk-takers among their generation of chamber musicians, the Pavel Haas Quartet returns to the Musica Viva stage with trademark vigour. Bringing a powerful authenticity to Dvořáks ‘Slavic’ Quartet, as well as the vivid imagery of the second quartet from their Czech namesake Pavel Haas, the ensemble will set the stage alight in performances sure to excite. The same passionate commitment is applied to the world premiere of a new octet by Natalie Williams, and the ‘modern classic’ that is Olli Mustonen’s second nonet.
